What you need to do is to position yourself beneath your garage door. You’ll need the help of one other individual, it could be a friend or a family member. Place a bench near the closed door. Using a crowbar, pry open the door until you and your companion can get your hands under it to lift it.

The next step is to put the bench under the door to stop it from closing again. Get another bench and put it on the other side of the door. You and your companion should position yourselves on the benches as you lift the garage door to open it up.
